What Is The Cost For Document Shredding?

Costs differ depending on your need and frequently for document shredding services. Price for a one-time service depends on how much paper is to be shredded and how soon you need it done. Cost for mobile shredding service on a regular basis depends on the service interval you require (daily, weekly, monthly or other), and the number of collection bins to be processed each time.

How Can Payment for Services Be Made?

Embassy RMS provides a complete invoice of all services performed during an invoicing period. We accept payment by check or cash.

What Specific Papers Should Be Shredded?

The purpose of shredding sensitive documents is for companies to maintain the privacy and security for themselves and all of their employees, customers, and vendors. Embassy RMS recommends shredding anything with sensitive information such as account numbers, personal information, and more. Destroying such documents provides protection to companies against the legal liability and devastating results of identity and information theft. With this in mind, many of the following documents are recommended for shredding. This is not a comprehensive list of all such items.

  • Any type of banking document

  • Any document containing social security numbers

  • Receipts and check that contain credit card numbers

  • Any type of customer personal information

  • Any record of employee and payroll information

  • Any type of insurance information

  • Any personal medical records

  • All investment and loan records

  • Records kept of visitors

How Will I Know My Paper is Correctly and Completely Shredded?

Customers utilizing our secure, confidential shredding services are visited by our mobile shredding trucks, where shredding happens right on the premises. The whole process happening inside the back of the truck can be viewed, beginning to end, through a video monitor on the truck. After the process is finished, we provide a certificate documenting what was done that day.

What About Employee Screening?

As part of our NAID membership, Embassy RMS does required background checks on all employees to assure our clients of complete safety and confidentiality. Our employees are qualified individuals who treat our customers’ privacy in a very serious fashion.

What Happens To All the Shredded Paper?

All of the paper shredded by Embassy RMS is returned to our own Brazos Valley Recycling facility for final disposition – offering one more level of security to our clients. Your shredded materials are then processed as part of our normal recycling process.

What About Shredding for Residential Customers?

Embassy RMS provides residential shredding services. Before scheduling a visit from one of our mobile shredder trucks, we ask residential customers to check with their homeowner’s association or housing development to be sure this type of service is allowed.

What is the Difference Between Onsite and Offsite Services?

All onsite shredding take place at your location and is handled in one of our state-of-the-art mobile shredding trucks under the supervision of your company representative. This is the most secure method to allow businesses to be sure that what their material and media to be shredded is actually completed. This service complies with NAID secure and confidential shredding standards.

We also offer offsite shredding at our facility, where customers may bring paper and media for shredding. Although it is not an NAID-certified service at this location, it does offer a solution for secure document destruction services.

How Often Can You Come to My Office?

Embassy RMS can visit your location as often as you consider necessary. We offer different shredding schedule plans including daily, weekly and monthly as well as more tailored plans. We can modify any service schedule to fit your needs.

What About Various Plans For Scheduled Shredder Service?

Since no two companies have the same shredding needs, Embassy RMS will work out the best plan to handle your shredding on an individual basis. We offer service on a regular daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis. We also can adjust your service schedule whenever your needs change.

What About One-Time Document Shredding Needs?

Embassy RMS can certainly provide one-time shredding for companies who shred infrequently or have gone through a recent extensive purge of files and records that will need to be shredded.

What About Emergency Document Shredding Needs?

Embassy RMS can provide emergency shredding services whenever you have more than a normal amount of paper to be shredded. We can also drop off additional locking shredder consoles to help with additional needs as well as adjust the frequency of your service, if necessary.

What About Multiple Location Shredding Needs?

What About Minimum Requirements For Mobile Document Shredding?

Embassy RMS can come to your location even if you only have a few boxes of paper to shred.

What About Removing Paper Clips, Staples and Binder Clips Before Shredding?

Please remove binder clips. There is no need to remove any paper clips or staples because our high-powered shredding machines can shred through almost anything with ease. Just put paper to be shredded with clips or staples into the shred consoles or bins – and Embassy RMS will take care of the rest!
