On Site Shredding

Mobile shredding is the process of bringing a shredding truck to your location. The trucks are completely self-contained and will run without the need for outside power source. The shred ends up in the box of the truck and are taken to a recycling plant after the shredding.

If you are required to observe your documents being shredded, then an on-site shredding option is for you. You watch the shredding as it is being done.

Shredding trucks process thousands of pounds of paper in an hour so most projects only take a few minutes. In moments they can finish the typical office shredding purge. They can handle jobs from a single box to thousands of boxes.

Embassy Records Management and Storage offers single and regularly scheduled services. If you are wanting something on a regular basis you are given locked bins to be placed in your office to collect any files. Our driver will show up on a regular schedule and shred your sensitive business data to keep it from getting into your competitors possession.

How On Site Shredding Works:

  • Collect all the files you want destroyed. Don't worry about staples or paper clips!

  • The papers are shredded into a secure compartment of the truck. You can witness the total process.

  • Certificate of destruction is supplied detailing the volume shredded for privacy compliance.

  • The bits are compacted, baled, and then recycled into new paper.
